In Yakutia the prosecutor's office has revealed the shortage of funeral services in settlements - RIA Novosti, 11/9/2018

YAKUTSK, 9 Nov – RIA Novosti. The prosecutor's office of Megino-Kangalassky district has filed a lawsuit against the local authorities which haven't created funeral services in 18 settlements the press service of prosecutor's office of Yakutia reports. Megino-Kangalassky district is located in the central Yakutia. Is one of the most densely populated areas of the republic. The prosecutor's office of municipal unit has checked local administrations for compliance with the law about burial and funeral business. As it has become clear by results of check, in eighteen of 31 settlements and the village of this area there are no funeral services which under the law have to be created by local governments. "The prosecutor's office of the area has directed to court administrative statements of claim about recognition of inaction of municipal units, expressed in non-execution of an obligation for creation of specialized service concerning funeral business, illegal" — the press service informs. Statements of the prosecutor are under consideration.
