Alexander Yakovenko's press conference. A live broadcast - RIA Novosti, 12.10.2018

The ambassador of Russia in Great Britain Alexander Yakovenko holds a press conference on a present condition of the relations between Moscow and London. The Russian-British relations worsened after the incident in Salisbury where the former officer of GRU Sergey Skripal and his daughter Yulia were poisoned. London claims that the Russian side is involved in poisoning with neuroparalytic substance. Moscow categorically denies it. Russia suggested Great Britain to make joint investigation of an incident more than once, however London ignored this initiative and denied access to Skripalyam. Besides, at the beginning of October the British side accused Russia of cyber attacks. The Forin-office published the statement in which it is said that the British authorities "with high degree of confidence" consider that the head department of the Russian General Staff (GRU) "almost precisely" organized a series of hacker breakings worldwide. At the same time London did not provide any actual proofs confirming these charges. Moscow called the statement of the British Foreign Ministry "the next information attack".
